United Mississippi Bank is participating in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through June 30, 2010, all non-interest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program, which presently excludes United Mississippi Bank NOW accounts, is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules which does include United Mississippi Bank NOW accounts.

If you have a transfer or sweep arrangement in effect by which funds are moved from a non-interest bearing transaction account into an ineligible NOW or savings account, such transfer or sweep will void the FDIC’s transaction account guarantee and could decrease your FDIC deposit insurance coverage.
